Description of trip to Kyrgyzstan

The tour starts from Bishkek airport and ends in Bishkek airport. The best time for this tour is July, August, and September. Includes 8 days hiking close to glaciers.

Day 1. Bishkek airport - Karakol

Meeting at the airport. Lunch in the restaurant. Travel to Karakol.(5-6 hours). Dinner in restaurant. Preparation for trekking tour.

Day 2. Karakol - Echkilitash

Travel to the starting point of the trek Echkilitash, Sary Jaz. (5 hours) 2 hours hiking. Overnight in a tent.

Day 3. Echkilitash - Tyuz Pass

Leaving the campsite you will summit Tyuz pass (4001m) and descend to the campsite Chon-Tash ~7-8 hours (16 km). Overnight in the tent (Elevation: 2900 m).

Day 4. Enilchek - Glinaya Polyana

Leaving the campsite you will hike on Enilchek glacier (3900m) to the campsite in Glinaya Polyana ~5-6 hours (10km). Overnight in the tent (Elevation: 3380m).

Day 5. Polyana - Mercbaher

Leaving the campsite you will hike to the campsite in Polyana Merzbacher ~4-5 hours (8km). Overnight in the tent (Elevation: 3550m).

Day 6. Hike to Mercbaher Lake

Free day. After breakfast, you can hike around Merzbacher Lake ~5-6 hours (8 km). Overnight in the tents (Elevation: 3550 m).

Day 7. Iva

Leaving the campsite you will hike down on Enilchek glacier to the campsite in Iva ~6-7 hours (10 km). Overnight in the tent (Elevation: 3000 m).

Day 8. Atjailoo

Leaving the campsite you will hike ~5-6 hours (18 km) along the river Enilchek to the campsite in At-Djailoo, on the way you will make several river crossings. Here car will meet you, and you will travel to Enilchek ghost town. There is a wild hot spring. You can swim there. Overnight in tent.
